Exhibits
I thought it would be my one and only exhibition, so I decided to call it My Major Retrospective.
-Tracey Emin
Designing and laying out exhibits was my primary work for seven years. I pushed hard to highlight topics and parts of the Cornell University Library collections that were fun, visually exciting, important stories to tell, or all three. The pieces shown here are built from collection items I scanned or photographed, and are considered either public domain or used under fair use guidelines.
Story/Lines was installed at Kroch Asia Library. Text by Aparna Ghosh and Dan McKee.
Warm is Always in Style was installed at Albert R. Mann Library.
Enchanted Asia was installed at Kroch Asia Library. Text by the department staff and librarians.
Below are links to digital exhibits I created based on physical exhibits that I installed, using a content management system known as Spotlight (developed out of Stanford University; it is similar to Omeka but with a different workflow and modularity).
